Then how the hell can I get this to work. I want to have my wp header/footer. Can I just use a lower version of wp? Like 2.5?

I used my keymaster. I think it logged in. When I go to http://kauaihypnosis.site90.com/bbpress/bb-login.php and use my user name and the correct password, it doesn’t let me log in. Not sure what the heck is going on. Mind you I’m using the unstable version.

Chrishajer, whats going on. I’m attempting to get my bbpress theme to look like my wordpress theme. I’ve done what you said above (my-templates folder with the kakumei theme). Now what do I need to do? Do I need to use wordpress functions (then get_header & get footer)?

I’m wondering, what file is the header located in? Is it header.php? If so, I’m having a hard time locate this file.

Here let me see if I can try to explain this a little bit better

Here goes…I ran the installer up to this point…

Step 3 – Site settings

» Your site settings have been saved and we are now ready to complete the installation. So what are you waiting for?

and I got this error after I try to proceed to step 4

“Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.”

Then I went back one page and tried to complete step 3 and I got this…

“Step 3 – Site settings

« completed

Installation failed!

! The database failed to install. You may need to replace bbPress with a fresh copy and start again. “

These are the errors that I’ve gotten from the error log.
