Is there a ‘for dummies’ version of the same. I am programming-handicapped and can understand nothing of what is been discussed here, though I too want to achieve the same thing

Sorry to spam the forum., but just wanted to provide this info that I realize there was no .htacess file in the BBpress folder I downloaded..Could that be the problem?
Looks like it is even more of a catastrophe than what I thought..The front page looks flawless. But none of the links seem to be taking me to the interior pages.
The problem is not with the themes I guess, since I have tried it on two themes, and seem to be having the same problem. If I may provide the url of the site here, please visit : http://wat2.com
