Thats what I tought, i.e. they aren’t able to see delete they only trash it, I was looking for a way to just direct them back to the forum instead of that message.

I created the custom capabilities as mentioned in the link above for two new roles, I also followed the edits to both core files and was successful in getting the “trash” link to show up for the desired users. However, when they select “trash” it does move the post to trash but it shows a ”
This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it? It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.” message, I assume because they don’t have permission to view trash. How do I get rid of this message and just bring them back to the forum they were in?
