User Registration says e-mail is mandatory

Newbee, so please bear with me if I am asking a stupid question.

I am running bbPress 1.02. I was trying to register, and despite the e-mail address being populated, bbPress user registration process keep telling me that I need to specify e-mail address.

I am using it with WordPress Deep integration

yeah I came across that while fixing the thing for a client, I did it by editing core file, one that handles the registration.

ah yes the plugin is the first solution and when it doesn’t work (in some cases), then you got to edit the core file
