Excess Page in Pagination

I have 15 items and it displays all in page 1 but there is still page 2 and of course the page 2 is empty. How can I remove/hide excess page in pagination?

I suspect you have a spam or pending topic, this can muck up the counts.

you could try

dashboard>tools>forums>repair and redo the counts
