Forum permission issue/question

    Hello 🙂

    I want to give forum groups certain post and comment restrictions while visitors (not logged in or subscribed) can still see these parts of the forum. It seems impossible to do so, as I can only turn on restrictions for forum groups but then loose the visibility for visitors and visa versa.

    The lowest rank are Subscribers, which means from what I understood that this group has to attempt to sign up but not confirm their e-mail or be subscribed, which is not what I want my visitors to do just to see the forum.

    Example of what I want to achieve:
    Forum 1
    Viability: Everyone.
    Start topic: Members.
    Comment: Members.

    Hi, you seem to refer to forum groups, but that’s a buddyPress feature.
    If your question is buddyPress related, then you might try posting your question on https://buddypress.org/support/

    What forum groups plugin are you using?

    If you are not using BuddyPress groups like @casiepa thought, go to the plugin your using, plugin support forum.
