Hi folks,
As you all know, the plugin bbP Signature received it’s last update almost two years ago. I’m not actively updating the plugin, though I recently stumbled upon a WordPress mailing list thread regarding abandoned plugins, and I thought of writing this post.

If any of you guys are looking forward to contribute to the plugin, I can provide you with commit access, so that the plugin is live.

The source is also available on GitHub, so you can even make pull requests.

Thanks for not just abandoning.

I’d be happy to take that plugin over and keep it updated as I use it on one of my forums.

bbP Signature – Can somebody let me know if this plugin is still supported, it was updated recently but I have noted a problem ?

bbp signature is a very useful plugin

I have noticed that when the bbp signature plugin is activated, this automatically creates a duplicate copy of any posts in a change-log which is then visible to all.

Hopefully just an issue with my set-up, ?

FYI I use the free version of GD bbPress Tools that has a setting for the User Signature. This plugin is actively updated.

Hi

I am using this plugin and it works well

I have just one problem about links

the same problem as this user : https://wordpress.org/support/topic/links-in-signature-do-not-work/

and i also tried in bbcode but it doesnt convert to a link

but i would prefer html as most users are used to html

of course a visual editor would be great, is that possible ?

GD bbPress Tools is what I use and works well for my Forum members to have individual signatures etc.
Not tried it with Hyperlinks.
