Need help changing text color in posts

Currently, the font color is nearly the same as the background, making it extremely hard to see. I don’t know CSS well enough to be able to change it myself, so I could and would appreciate some help!

Wordpress version: Latest
BBPress version: 2.5.4

I did check that out and spent around an hour trying it, so I either checked it out and got it wrong and need help or it didn’t help.

bbpress adds styling to closed topics

hardly seeing it is kind of suppose to happen

Well that’s the whole point… It’s a closed topic that is unreadable and I want it to be readable.
