When creating a new forum using the bbPress plugin, I am able to preview it, which shows it using a link such as “http://support.website.com/wordpress/?post_type=forum&p=58&preview=true”. However, after publishing and attempting to “View Forum”, I get the following 404

I have enabled permalinks, as you can see.

I don’t believe this has anything to do with any other plugins I am using; however, I am willing to post what those are if necessary.

Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.

You can try resetting your permalinks, that tends to fix some strange 404 errors for me.

If you try that and it still doesn’t work then try switching to a default theme or then disabling plugins one by one.

I’ve hacked away at this for way too long; but, I seem to have gotten it down to an issue with the rewrite mod and permalinks. Permalinks for posts seem to work, but, not anything that plugins add. I’ve also put up a mod_rewrite test PHP page and it says that mod_rewrite is not working properly; so, I’ll keep working on that issue.
