I’ve noticed that when you try and place a break between sentences/paragraphs, it renders fine in the editor, but when you post, the text becomes smashed. Is there a way to ensure an extra line is actually rendered with the output?

I’d make sure your theme (or a plugin) isn’t disabling wpautop
