Hey guys!

bbPress 2.1 is supposed to, from what I’ve understood, add support for a WYSIWYG editor. T
hat is not the case for me. I’m just getting the same old text box with no buttons.
Is there something I can do to fix this? I’m not really sure where to start troubleshooting.

Edit: The Fancy Editor is enabled in the forum settings.

If you are running bbPress 2.1 and have the fancy editor enabled in the settings (Settings > Forums) it should definitely be showing up.

If it’s not, I’d start with temporarily changing your theme to TwentyTen/Eleven to eliminate the possibility of your theme doing something weird and causing a conflict.
