Hi,

I’m trying to change the area above the forum header (.bbp-header) in the loop_forums.php file and can’t seem to see what the line “<?php do_action( ‘bbp_template_before_forums_loop’ ); ?>” refers to to make the changes I need to make.

Can someone explain what this is doing and how I can make the changes?

Actions are ‘placeholders’ to allow you to add code without having to alter the templates, so this line does nothing – it is a hook for you/others see

So how can I alter what is already in ‘bbp_template_before_forums_loop’? Currently it has breadcrumbs and a search field but I need to remove the breadcrumbs for my theme.
