I’ve installed 2.1-rc4 and its looking good but there is something a bit odd.

I’ve created a new subforum with one topic. When I go into the sub forum it shows that there is 1 topic in the sub forum but then goes and shows 15 topics (14 from other areas) with the last topic being the only actual topic in the forum.

This is very confusing and it would seem to be wrong.

That does look pretty odd. Do you have a bunch of global sticky topics? I see at least 1 poking out there.

I might have – in fact I have a lot more than I’m sure I’ve ever set….

Unsticking them seems to have solved the problem,

Global sticky posts throw the counts off because they are part of the pagination, but aren’t actually in the current forum.

Happy that was an easy fix.
