Hello

I am in the process of making the switch from phpBB to bbPress (once the importer is out of beta). My two questions: how will the current catalog of bbPress plugins work within the new bbPress 2.0 (WordPress plugin)? How are they installed?

I searched for this info here and could not really find a definite answer.

Plugins for the 1x forums do not work with the new 2x bbpress plugin.

Maybe we could set up a poll so everyone could vote which bbpress 1.1 are the most important to be made compatible/available for bbprss plugin ?

I think now that BBPress is final and out in the wild, I expect to see a number of plugins starting to hit the market quite soon. The code is a dream to work with and so easy to extend. JJ really rocked this release.

@kriskl a poll of sorts has been done already. You just have to look at a plugin’s rating & comments (can we see # of downloads anywhere?) to get an idea of how many people are invested in it.
