is there a way for users to filter different forums

like a user could be interested in

forum titles:

[x] world news

[x] entertainment

[ ] sport

[x] business

[ ] travel

then only topics within world news, entertainment and business will be displayed

With some hacking, you could make my “hidden forums” plugin do this. You’d have to modify it so only certain users would experience certain hidden forums, instead of hiding by user level.
