The forum on our site has started adding numbers at the end of a user’s username when they are tagged. This normally happens within one topic when a person is tagged several times in a discussion. So for example @jonny is displayed as @jonny1, next time he’s mentioned @jonny2, @jonny3 etc. Does anyone know why it might be doing this? We can’t work it out! It doesn’t seem to coincide with any new plugins etc.

mentions is part of buddypress (or another plugin) not part of bbpress.
