I have permalinks set like this

/%category%/%postname%/

I just installed bbpress and haven’t touched the settings. My forum root looks like

mysite.com/forums and displays the 2 forums I created

Test-1
Test-2

But when I go to test-1 it looks like:

mysite.com/forums/forum/Test-1

I don’t want it to say “forums/forum” just “forums/Test-1”

How can I accomplish this?

Go to bbPress settings and uncheck the checkbox to include the ‘forum prefix’
