So it seems the entire forum is broke after the update.

All the info of the forum seems to be there but all the definition of the page is gone, pagination, columns, rows, etc.

Anyone know of an easy way to fix this?

Have you tried ‘Repair Forums’? (via /wp-admin/tools.php?page=bbp-repair)

If that doesn’t fix can you post the URL to the site so we can take a look.

Switch which theme you’re using for compatibility, or see what CSS is no longer getting loaded. Some things did change from 2.0 to 2.1 in this regard, but nothing should have broken.

I’m assuming the OP is referring to the changes made by the theme packages setting that’s new in 2.1. I’m having some issues with that as well…

What is the recommended method of theming bbpress 2.1?
