Hello,

I am in great need for a button that will unsubscribe a user from receiving all bbpress and buddypress emails. How can I add a button like this into my website?

This is because in the United States, the Can-Spam Act of 2003 requires that a user only needs to visit one webpage to stop receiving all commercial emails.

In addition, how would I edit the emails so that I could the link to this button in the footer or explain how to get to the button?

Nevermind,

Apparently, these kinds of emails are considered “transactional” not commercial, so they would not be under the Can-Spam Act!

It’s still a nice idea, to be able to unsubscribe from all topics & forums.

I’ll make a note of this, and maybe we can get it into a future release.
