Unapproved topics appear in activity

I have Auto Approval disabled.

When a user creates a topic it is pending.

On forum archive it shows the topic as the latest post of the forum. The url leads to a 404 page for guest users.

ok, so what setting are you using for ‘Auto Approval disabled’ ?
