Just noticed this by mistake:

I hovered my mouse over a tag to find a tooltip that says there are three topics in the tag ‘PHP’. I clicked on the tag to find six topics. Now, I’ve realized that afer hovering over every tag, the highest count was three. Most of the tags have more than this

I have burning tags activated – if that helps at all. Oh, and the bullets are simply a template edit.

Any ideas?

Burning Tags modifies the number to be the number of recent topics with the tag, not the total number of topics with the tag.

Oh I see – surely it would then be logical to have the tooltip say, “x recent topics”?
