Hello everybody,

I was wondering if it’s possible to moderate topic tags creation.

I would like to keep the ability to use topic tags in any forum (creation or answer), however, in order to avoid tag duplication or misspelling can we block new tags being created and only allow our subscribers to use tags previously inserted by an admin?

We tried to use some type of role editor but unfortunately our subscribers still can create new tags while answering or creating a topic.

add this additional plugin

bbp style pack

once activated go to

dashboard>settings>bbp style pack>Topic/Reply Form and look at item 18 which does exactly what you want
