is there a doc somewhere about how to setup theme integration between user integrated bb/wp sites?

I’m not sure i understand the value of having integrated functionality with divergent visuals.

[edit] i’ve hunted around for a while and it seems that there hasn’t even been any real discussion on the subject for years. that means to me that it’s either a huge enuf PITA to warrant I PASS on it, or there’s a simple solution somewhere that i’m completely missing.
