    Hello
3 months ago, I created a forum inside the website with the BB Press plugin, and I have been working with it until now
Today, the plugin has been removed from the cyberbar menu of the site’s dashboard
My account is on the general manager’s website
From the (at a glance) section, when I click on the topic or answer link, it gives the following error:
You need a higher level license.
Sorry, you are not allowed to edit posts with this type of post.

    please help
    thank you

this sounds like an issue with your hoster.

bbpress is a free plugin with no license levels

    thank you Robin
I checked the permission of the plugin files inside the host
Almost 90% of the files are set to 0640.
Do I have to set all the files to 0644?
    Shouldn’t any file be 0640?

    Thank you for your guidance

hmmmm… not sure it would be that, as bbpress is loading ok.

it could be a theme or plugin issue

    Themes

As a test switch to a default theme such as twentytwenty, and see if this fixes.

    Plugins

If that doesn’t work, also deactivate all plugins apart from bbpress and see if this fixes. if it does, re-enable one at a time to see which is causing the error.

If you cannot do this to your site (say because it is live) then use the ‘troubleshooting’ features of this plugin to let you test without affecting other users

    Health Check & Troubleshooting

    Then come back
