When I try to install bbPress I get the error message:

“The plugin does not have a valid header”.

I choose ”Plugins” / ”Add New” in my admin panel.

Then I choose upload and click on the bbpress-1.0.1.zip file and install now

Here I get the following message:

“Unpacking the package. Installing the plugin. Plugins installed successfully. ”

When I then click on Activate Plugin do I get the message “The plugin does not have a valid header.”

I’m using WPMU and body press.

Can anyone help me?

Are you trying to install bbPress as a plugin in WPMU?

It’s a separate program… you have to install it separately.

I just followed the installation wizard:

bbPress is NOT a plugin. You do NOT add it from your admin panel.

You install it as a separate program.
