When users are logged out, images can’t be viewed but the message needs correcting:

You must be logged in to view attched files.

There is an ‘a’ missing, it’s a real bugbear of mine.

Did you intentionally misspell the title of your post? 🙂

That said, this is not a bbPress issue, I think you will find it is an attachment plugin you’re using.
