On our website we have the following problem: users with BBpress role “Blocked” still receive notifications for their subscribed threads. Therefore a Blocked user can read by email the new posts posted in theis subscribed threads. I need that they don’t receive notifications if their bbpress role is blocked.

Hello, yes, I am using a plugin called
https://it.wordpress.org/plugins/sendgrid-email-delivery-simplified/
but I don’t think is the responsible of this problem.
This plugin just “forwards” the emails sent by WordPress to Sendgrid, and Sendgrid just send those emails to the users.

Therefore my problem cannot be related to the Sendgrid plugin.

Hi,
It indeed seems that emails get delivered (I checked with the bbPress developers). I’m trying to create something around it, so keep subscribed to this thread. Just note that it can take time before I get to it.

I have added it for now into my ‘bbP Toolkit’ plugin (v1.0.8) while waiting for https://bbpress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/3046 to be implemented.
