bbpress adds the prefix forum, topic and reply in each of those custom post types.

For instance:

“Topic: This is a new topic.”

I think I know the reason of adding this feature, but it looks pretty ugly in search results and when you share the topics on facebook.

Is there any way of removing them?

yes it happen on the title tag on the header source code

You can use the bbp_title filter that is in place to change/tweak the titles bbPress uses.

However there is no simple switch in place to disable the prefixes from being used.
