I’m not sure if this is normal or a bug, but it’s really irritating. When someone creates a new topic, it isn’t shown in the widget, and that way it usually remains unseen and without any replies. Any fix around this?

Works for me. Make sure you have your widget configured the way you want it, and try looking for plugin conflicts.

The only options are the maximum replies to show and whether I wanted to show the post date or not, nothing else. Not sure if there are any plugins which can conflict, but I’ll keep trying.

• The ‘Recent Replies’ widget shows recent replies.
• The ‘Recent Topics’ widget has the option to show ‘New Topics’, ‘Popular Topics’ or ‘Topics with recent replies’

You can therefore use a combination of the two widgets to achieve what you are after…

A couple of the widgets have just been updated (see #1903) by @jaredatch and I suppose what you are asking is like how the ‘Recent Topics’ widget has the new/pop/recent options, could the ‘Recent Replies’ widget also include a checkbox to also include ‘Recent Topics with No Replies’?
