Is there any plugin that will notify you whenever your name is mentioned in a post? Like link you to a separate page that lists which thread(s) someones said/linked your name?

I dont think that there is any such plugin that can extract data from each page and search for your name and then notify you.

BuddyPress uses the activity stream component to accomplish this. You could use it, and bbPress will work with it.
