Hi,

first of all, thank you very much for the theme. I enjoy it but have one question.
Is it possible that I can connect the name, which a user has to enter, with the entered email address? So that a certain username can just belong to a certain e-mail address.
Hope it is comprehensible.

Do you mean that when registering, the user would put in their email address, and the username would be generated from that?

Hey,

I try to give you an example:

It is for anonymous posting:

User A enters the name “abc” and the mail address “test@web.com

Now user B comes and want to enter the name “abc” as well but since he enters another email address,for example “hello@web.com”, he can´t take the name “abc”.
Once User A entered its data, name and email belong together.

ok, it could be coded, but is not available as far as I know.

I don’t see this coming to bbPress in the near future, we do our best to support anonymous posting with an alias and email address but reserving a username against an email address is basically the same as registering on the site.
