permalinks to posts numbers

Hi… This is a little tricky to explain.
Each post shows now for example:
“Posted 10 minutes ago #”
I want to change it to:
“Posted 10 minutes ago #1
and the post after that post gets #2 and so on..
Any ideas how to make this possible?
