When you create a new post below the box appears to select if you want to receive emails when someone writes a reply.
Is it possible to have the defoult box selected?

if you are using

bbp style pack

then

dashboard>settings>bbp style pack>Topic/Reply Form item 6

or if you don’t want style pack, then this does that bit
