As the title suggests my site shows the visual editor (tinyMCE) for the subscribers, but not for the admins.. What to do?
Not sure if this is related, but when I try to change the editor type from “text only” to any other, nothing seems to happen for any type of users (bbp style pack – topic/reply form – 9. Show editors).

so without style pack, what method are you using to enable the visual editor?

I had clicked “Disable the visual editor when writing” from the backend for my user profile. I don’t remember doing that, which is strange.
