How do I get the Create New Topic button/link to show? I’ve activated it in the settings but still nothing shows.

do you mean activated in settings of say BSP-Style-pack?

I faced the same problem, “Create New Topic” button does not appear. Even the forums that I have created do not appear.

Please help.

In deafult installation you have a create topic form , not a button. (like this forum)

The Link you provided is an author page. So you wont see the form.
