My forums are not displaying on my forum directory on the front end!

I need some assistance, I don’t know where I am going wrong. I have forums that I have created that are not showing up on my forum page. When I click on the page it say *no topics here*, and when I go to create a topic it doesn’t work…I have no idea what to do next. Obviously something is not pointing to where it should be.
