I created a new forum. I checked all settings and they are identical to the others.

I look at my sidebar and it isn’t there. I’m in Edit Forum, then View Forum. It shows and under Edit page is Home › Forums › Title of forum. Order is 3 as it’s the third forum in the list and how it should appear.

It seems like I have all correct. What have I done wrong? Err, what setting is incorrect? 🙂

A few things worth checking:

• Do you have caching installed? If so, is the page fresh?
• Is the forum private/hidden? Can your user account view private/hidden forums?

Can you take screen shots or be more specific about what your settings are? The way you describe your configuration is a bit confusing.

Not sure but I checked from four computers of which one had never been to my site.

It is Private but I’m admin and logged in as such.

I was thinking of adding a test user, giving her permissions, then testing — but — if I can’t view this as admin, why bother?

Oh you asked for a screenshot but no software for that. I can list settings from any page you want.
