Hi,

Please can you tell me if I can link a sub forum to another main forum? I am wanting to create a sub forum under a main forum, but actually link it to another main forum rather than to the sub forum.

I’m not sure if that makes sense, but something like this:

Can you tell me if this can be done? I’m guessing I can change the permalink in the sub forum? Or create a 301 redirect?

you can create tiered forums quite easily.

go to

dashboard>forums>edit forum and select the forum you wish, then on ten right hand side, select what parent forum you want it to belong to.

Thanks for the reply, but I actually want to link that sub forum to the top forum… so when a user clicks the sub forum, they don’t enter it, they enter the forum above it
