I’m wondering if there’s a bbpress plugin that functions like a like button you see on Facebook or Twitter, or the emoticon replies the Slack chat app has, to give feedback on a post without actually replying to it.

There aren’t many actively maintained like-button plugins for bbPress specifically. But, check out “Like for bbPress” – it might do the trick for simple upvoting!

Liking posts is very engaging for users, especially if there’s a page that shows the users who have received the most likes. It’s true, but it’s a shame it doesn’t exist by default on BBpress.
