I have a fully functional forum that I’ve been using since November of 2018. I have it set to allow 20 replies per page.

When you reply to something in the forum, after posting your reply, you’d like to continue reading where you left off, however, it always takes you to the last page in the forum. That’s annoying, but tolerable. However…

If you’re the 19th or 20th post on the page, it takes you to a blank page, which then requires you to reload the last page and scroll all of the way down to continue reading. This drives my members insane!

Can I fix this?

Are you using hierarchical replies, by chance? If so, you’re right that not redirecting back to the reply inline (in the middle of the thread) is a little weird.

I’d have to look and see, but I feel like it should be redirecting back to the reply that was just posted. If it can’t determine the page, then the redirect that happens after posting will be back to the last page of the topic.
