I’m wondering if a non-key master can edit a key master’s account. I’m worried about admins accidentally modifying my account and then removing my key master privelages or changing my password, literally destroying the forums.

Are admins and lower blocked from editing key masters?

If not, how can I do so?

Why not create an admin or moderator account and see if you can destroy the keymaster account?

Alright, I’ll try that, but first, I’ll make another keymaster.

Edit: The mod couldn’t edit the keymaster, but the admin could and was able to de-rank and change the password of the keymaster in question.

Edit 2: What I’ve done is blocked the edit profile page with bb_die for anyone who is not keymaster if the edit profile page is of a keymaster (I did it by userid)

That seems bad that an admin could change the keymaster password. I guess you would be trusting the people you make admin, so it’s mostly a trust issue. But I like your solution as well.
