Is there an admin tool like Shadowban for a user? So the user does not see that toxic
post invisibly – the admin and the author of the message still see the text only, but no one else from the forums.

as an idea – shadowban – use the link to edit the post bbp_toggle_reply_approve, then use css to remove the class moderator background and the inscription – “awaiting approval”.
But it will remain in the back-office “awaiting approval” list

is this in basic bbpress, or are you using an approval plugin?

This is not in the basic bbpress, but I saw this on other forum’ engines.
I think it would be great if to find a combo plugin for bbpress admins like bbpress-styles for poly-customize.
Now I’m just looking for a shadowban recipe – perhaps this can be done through the hooks of the php function…
