Someone just contacted me and said they tried a few times but cannot register here.

I’m sending them over to http://wordpress.org to try registering there first but I wanted to see if there have been any new registration here or maybe it’s akismet blocking them.

There’s no way to tell if there have been any new registrations lately via admin here so I figured I’d ask if anyone noticed we are missing new users.

I tried 3 times with different nicks and emails (over 3 weeks) and no luck, i’m using my wordpress.org forum account to post here, also i didnt find any contact to report the situation, why not a forum where everyone can writte or ask for help without registering?

I was able to create an account here, my password arrived immediately, and I was able to log in. Here is the post.

I used Google Chrome 7.0.503.0 dev on Windows XP. I used an incognitio window to ensure there were no cookies fouling things up.

I filled out username, email and website. Nothing else in the sign-up.
