Noone knows this? I cannot be the first one with this problem. I have been digging around and a lot of files and can not fix this.

It seems the problem is in the loop-single-forum. I think it’s the class bbp-forum-content that needs fixing but I cannot figure out how.

Please help. The Forum index (my first link) is meaningless the way it is now.

Have you fixed this? If I open http://pedalterapi.net/?page_id=630 it redirects to http://pedalterapi.net/forums/ and looks fine

No. Actually I have broken it both places. To try to explain: When I create a forum, I write a description of simple guidelines and what the forum is about. I want this to be shown below the forum name on the forum-index.

I have made a (bad) workaround with a sticky topic in each forum called “Read this first” (in norwegian).

Are you adding a forum description to each of the forums you are creating?

eg. ‘Anything’ should also have a description ‘This forum is for anything’ and that will then show underneath the forum title on your forums page.

Yes. I add descriptions to the text editor for each forum. I have read the bit you are linking to 100 times (not exadurating ;)) and can not find the solution.

BTW: I am using the compatibility theme.

Try this and post the link back here:

Does this now include the forum description?

Something is conflicting…. Try disabling all your plugins except bbPress and see if it works

Bingo! as soon as you said “conflicting” I knew it was the wordbooker plugin. Wordbooker integrates wordpress with Facebook.

But that for sure has to be a bug. Is it bbpress bug or Wordbookers bug? I don’t want to compromise between those two but if I have to choose I choose to have a forum.

    Glad its working for you.

It does not have to be a bug by either developer and is most likely just a conflict between the plugins, I would go ask to authors of the wordbooker plugin if they could have a look at bbPress and see if they can offer a fix/solution and/or implement bbPress support.

Well. I won’t say it’s working but the cause is found. I need the facebook integration AND the forum to work without flaws. I will post a bug report to Wordbooker. Maybe he has a quick way to fix this.
