Hello,

My WP website uses the Bangkok Press Theme. I’ve installed bbpress, but there is no sidebar appearing in the forum.

How can I add it?

I’ve already asked the creator of the theme, but he’s not familiar with bbpress, so I’m asking help around here 🙂

You will need to copy over the bbPress theme files from the plugin directory and into your theme, then you can add in the get_sidebar() function into the theme although it should be there already.

Try that and see how you get on, a good reference is: https://codex.bbpress.org/theme-compatibility/

Sorry… I am quite new to all of this…. which files from the plugin do you need to copy and where do you insert them into another theme – within another file, or in a directory.

I have this same issue – forum works fine, but no side bars once you are in the forum.

I only have side bars visible on the root page for the forum.
