I have set up a site with multiple forums, I have 5 people who will be answering questions on these forums. Is there any way that I can get these people notified by email when there has been a posting and which forum it is in?

if you enable subscriptions they could just subscribe to the forums

or presuming these people have a specific role (eg moderator) then
