Hi,

I have 2 questions:

Ive created a forum then deleted and then created another one and it now says forum-2 instead of forum, if i edit it still stays at forum-2.

Also my i go to the forum, i have http://websitename.com/forums/forum/forum-2/ how can i change it to be http://websitename.com/forum/

Any help is much appreciated.

1. go into dashboard>forums and under the title you will see the forum’s permalink. It should read forum-2. change it to forum

2. go into dashboard>settings>forums and look for forum prefix, and untick

If you can’t change the slug to forum and it stays as forum-2 check the trash folder, the permalink won’t be released until the deleted item is removed from the trash 😉
