Forum Homepage and sub forums problem

I have tried for some hours to resolve this and apologise for taking yur time.

My forums have installed correctly and are functioning.

The parent forums (categories) display as expected on the forum home page. However the sub forums (which contain topics) are showing as a comma delimited list:

    Name search (49, 36), Occupations (3, 6), Mosley; Moseley; Mozley etc. (20, 24), Family myths and stories (12, 11)

I need them to appear one below the other so that users can easily navigate..

Can someone brighter than I tell me how to do this please?

You can see the problem here:

By design. If you need it to look different, you’lll need to jump into the theme and create your own style.

    OK, thanks for that.

Can you give me some pointers as to where and what needs editing?

I have resolved this by editing the bbp-template.php file.

Anyone else with the issue should look to the function: bbp-list-forums and replace the separator ',' with '<br />'

    Hope this helps

There is no file named bbp-template.php.

I’d also suggest not editing any core bbPress files. Your changes will get wiped out when you update bbPress.
