Can you tell me please where the list of acceptable words is held ? We currently have issues with the word “Cock” as in Lincock and Gamecock as part of automotive description – how can this be amended ?

ok, bbpress just uses WordPress moderation, so do you have anything set in

dashboard>settings>discussion that could be affecting?

Neither the Comment Moderation nor the Comment Blocklist have anything in them. It suggests that the Comment Moderation would be held for moderation whereas the Comment Blocklist would be binned, but there doesn’t seem to be any provision for an “allowed” or white list.

without askimet (or another moderation tool running) then it should only be that area that blocks.

so if you create a topic/reply with just that word in it (and nothing else), it gets held for moderation – yes ?

OK when I log in as Admin it accepts what I write. If I log in as someone else (non Admin) it gives me the Error Message but there’s nothing waiting to be moderated.

in that part of the code, so maybe worth asking paid memberships if they do any checking.

Otherwise without site access, I can only guess that another plugin is doing something.
