Email notifications all of a sudden stopped working. Nothing changed that I know of. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Emails have resumed working after switching from HTML email type to PLAIN text. Not sure why but maybe after the plugin updates it switched back to HTML email type?

plugin updates can do funny things.

can you just say where exactly you did

Forum Settings > Email Notifications > Email Type

Mine is set to ‘Plain Text’ and emails work properly. They do not work when it is set to ‘HTML’

that’s something that a plugin is adding – what email/bbpress additional plugins are you running?

I know you are fixed, but this information will help someone else who later has the same problem 🙂
